2 Hour Rides with a Salmon Bake

This exciting trip is perfect for large groups such as corporate or office gatherings, school groups or friends getting together for an afternoon of diverse activities. Enjoy a two hour horseback ride into the Yukon wilderness from our ranch and experience some beautiful, unique scenery and possible wildlife viewing. Return to our ranch to enjoy a Salmon Bake at our BBQ picnic area. Taste local Salmon grilled to perfection over specially prepared coals for a succulent taste of traditional food. After a delicious meal with all the fixings, enjoy a game of horseshoes or take a short walk with a guide to visit some of our new foals and other farm animals. This is the perfect way to get everyone out to interact with each other and enjoy the outdoors, while experiencing a trip they won’t find anywhere else.

2 Hour Rides with a Steak Dinner

This trail explores wide open meadows, travels along hilltops overlooking magnificent wilderness and along lakeshores. Ride up to a beaver dam and watch beavers and many different species of waterfowl feeding or swimming in Beaver Dam Lake. Return to the ranch for a succulent steak dinner with all the fixin’s. The dinner is a great time to discuss the ride with your friends or family who went along and also to ask the guides questions you may have about the area or the horses. After dinner, check out our office for souvenirs before you leave! This trip is very popular for people en route to Dawson City or coming back.

4 Hour Picnic Ride

This is the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon of riding at a relaxed pace, while including a stop for a small lunch in a beautiful wilderness setting. While enjoying your lunch, watch the wildlife going about their daily business all around you, such as squirrels in the trees above you, small birds, grouse, possibly beavers or moose. Find out about the history of the area from your knowledgeable guide. Enjoy the quiet serenity and peaceful allure of the Yukon on this afternoon ride.

 6 Hour Picnic Ride

This ride is a great ride for the family or friends who wish to get away and enjoy a day of riding with a picnic lunch along the way. Experience true Yukon wilderness surroundings at an enjoyable pace. Stops to take pictures are encouraged along the way at the various small lakes, streams or meadows etc. where you may also find wildlife viewing opportunities. Remember to save your apple cores for your horse! This is always an enjoyable treat for your horse and a good way to make a friend!
